Introduction
This page was created to act as a starting point for those of us who have grown incredibly angry at our treatment at the hands of X.com/Paypal. It looks like there are a lot of us X.com victims out there and I for one don't want to take it lying down. If you are interesting in discussing what X.com did to you, whether or not there is enough interest in trying to get some kind of lawsuit going, or whatever, check out the mailing list below.
News
- March 7, 2001: I got a letter from EMCC, Inc., a collections agency. Apparently X.com sold all of their outstanding balances to them. When I called to contest my "outstanding balance" the lady I spoke with was very sympathetic. Apparently she has been getting an earful for the last few months as people get these letters from them. In a lot of cases it appears that X.com has made mistakes regarding what might or might not be owed them, etc. The lady I spoke with had been given a phone number for people who had a beef with X.com to call, but apparently the volume of calls led them to disconnect it. What a surprise.
